Sharing Day
We are at the end of another term and what fun we have had. We ended our inquiry with a sharing day to show off all of our hard work. Every class had fantastic displays which showed what they have learnt and all of the interesting work which they have done over the past two terms. It was great seeing and sharing with all of the families who came in on the day.
New Inquiry for Term 3 and 4
We will be starting a new inquiry next term. The question is
What is food for you and food for me?
We will be focusing on different types of foods, where they come from and how food is different for different cultures, and countries around the world. We will be comparing these with what we eat and grow in New Zealand.
Team Games
We have been learning how to play different winter sports this term and ended with a mini tornament.
The New Entrants have been learning how to play soccer.
Year one have learnt how to play a version of netball.
Year two have learnt how to play rippa rugby.
It has been great fun with the children all enjoying playing each other in mini games and scoring lots of goals and tries.
