Sharing Day

At the end of term 2 we had lots of fun!  We ended our inquiry with a sharing day to show off all of our hard work.   Every class had fantastic displays which showed what they had learnt and all of the interesting work which they had done over the past two terms.  It was great seeing and sharing with all of the families who came in on the day.

New Inquiry for Term 3 and 4

We have started a new inquiry this term.  The question is

What is food for you and food for me?

We will be focusing on different types of foods, where they come from and how food is different for different cultures, and countries around the world.  We will be comparing these with what we eat and grow in New Zealand.

Physical Education

Small ball skills

In term 3 Junior School classes will be learning a variety of small ball skills.

We will be learning how to hit, bounce, catch, and throw small balls.  We will be using these skills to play games like scatterball and patter-tennis.

 Ron Sperber

Ron Sperber is coming to visit.  In the hall he is going to talk to us about waste.  We are going to learn all about waste and what we should do with our waste.
